The Communist Youth Union in Ho Chi Minh City and District 1 have deployed young volunteers program for tourists’ assistance.
The team consist of 78 young people who are good at English and take charge in introducing Vietnam’s tourism image, provide tourists with information, support residence service for foreign tourists, direct tourists to detail address in the city, seek and report incidents and bad behaviors against tourists.
This pilot project is implemented from 8 June to 29 December at 3 locations: crossroad of Pham Ngu Lao-De Tham Streets, intersection of De Tham-Bui Vien Streets, and No.262 De Tham, Pham Ngu Lao Ward. Each location includes 2-4 members.
