Open Central Highlands Statue Garden

Recently, Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism (Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi) has launched the Central Highlands statue garden including almost 200 works created by 49 artisans from Xo Dang, Ba Na, Jrai, Gie-Trieng, Brau, Ro Mam…during the National Great Solidarity – Vietnam Cultural Heritage Week.

The unique wooden statues are associated with the daily life of ethnic groups in the Central Highlands such as village patriarch, hunting man, rice-grinding woman, buffalo sacrifice, new house celebration… Statue garden is one of the works creating the diversity for the general architecture of Common house of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.
