Situated at the center of heritage area, World’s Natural Wonder Ha Long Bay, about 7-8 km from Bai Chay wharf to the Southeast, Ti Top Island is considered as one of the most attractive destinations of many visitors of Ha Long Bay tour.

The name Ti Top was given by Uncle Ho after the name of Russian astronaut Ghermann Titov on occasion of his visit to Ha Long Bay in 1962.
Unlike other attractions belong to Ha Long Bay, Ti Top Island owns not only romantic and beautiful natural scenery but also a charming Ti Top beach. Traveling to the island, the tourists could climb up the mountain to admire the panoramic view of the nice island. Looking down from above, the Ti Top island looks like a crescent holding entirely the foot of the island. Despite the small area, the beach is rather quite, spacious with clean blue water. The sands are continuously washed by the tides. Perhaps, they are very prominent advantages that make Ti Top always attractive to every tourist, especially foreigners. In summer, thousands of arrivals come to the island for sightseeing and bath.
