Visa Vietnam

Apart from those who are exempted a visa Vietnam for a short stay, most of people traveling to Vietnam are obligated to prepare a visa before traveling to Vietnam. Generally, there are two major types of visa including: Vietnam tourist visa and Vietnam business visa.

Vietnam tourist visa has 1 month validity and Vietnam business visa allows you to stay in Vietnam about 3 months. Both of them can be extended after your arrive in Vietnam. To apply for a  Vietnamese visa, your original passport must be valid at least 6 month prior the date of arrival to Vietnam or at least 1 month prior  to departure date from Vietnam.

Currently, Vietnam visa can be obtained in 2 ways. The applicants can apply for a visa to Vietnam at embassy of Vietnam or apply online a Vietnam visa on arrival on our website.

1.   Apply Vietnam visa at the embassy

The commonly-requested documents by Vietnam Embassies:

- A valid passport valid for at least 6 months

- An application form (available at the embassy)

- 2 passport-sized photos (one is glued firmly on application form)

- Vietnam visa fee (in cash)

In special case, the Vietnam Embassy may contact you to ask for some supporting documents but do not submit further unless you are requested.

Processing time: 3-5 business days

2.   Apply Vietnam  visa on arrival: only available for visitors who enter Vietnam by air

The applicants have to experience 4 steps to get a visa on arrival:

-  Fill in the secure online visa application form

-  Pay service fee to get visa approval letter

-  Receive visa approval letter

-  Bring along visa approval letter to get on board and show it with completed entry and exit form (available on the website), 1 passport-sized photo and stamping fee to get a visa stamp at the airport.

Processing time for visa approval letter: 2 working days or less

Things to remember: The personal information on the application form must be accurate as it is written on your passport.  Check your spam folder if you do not receive any email from us since you submit Vietnam visa application on our website.
