Apply Vietnam visa online for Kenyan nationals

Kenyans traveling to Vietnam are required an entry visa. If you are expecting to obtain the visa at embassy, let us tell you this. There is no embassy of Vietnam in Kenya and even if there were, things would not be much easier. In most cases, the embassy requests you to submit immigration clearance (or so-called visa approval). Bad news is you have very little chance to receive the clearance as a normal visitor… However, it’s the issue we can handle easy. How we can help?

We are going to obtain a legal approval letter on your behalf. It takes only a couple of days for us to deal with immigration department and send approval to you. The letter is the key for you to board plane and be granted visa stamp on arrival, at any international airports of Vietnam. Please be noted that some airlines do not accept some African countries to get on plane with approval. Therefore, to be safe, it’s wise to check boarding rules of the airline which you will fly with before you proceed with visa application. In case they request you to have full Vietnam visa stamp on passport before departure (in our opinion, it is not likely to happen as the airlines may be aware that there is no embassy of Vietnam in Kenya), we will provide you with a special approval to get visa at the nearest embassy/consulate of Vietnam to Kenya.

How to apply?

Email your scanned copy of passport, expected travel date and port of entry to [email protected]. If requesting to receive visa at embassy, please kindly mention the closest embassy in the application. We will reply you shortly with a payment link which you can use to pay with credit/debit card.  Other payment methods such as bank transfer, Western Union are also accepted.

How much does it cost?

We offer different price for different types of visa. The table below will help you select the most appropriate visa type and calculate Vietnam visa fee.

Clarify:

• Processing fee is the amount you pay for us to arrange visa approval. The rush fee is added in case you wish to obtain approval on the same day . Please read Terms and Conditions for information about our refund policy.
• Stamping fee is the amount you must pay at airport or embassy to be granted visa sticker. The customs officer just accepts cash, either USD or VND is good.

How to get visa stamp at arrival airport/embassy?

The stamping procedure at airport and embassy is slightly different but the requirements are the same. The papers required for stamping process always consist of:

• Original passport: must have at least 6 months validity
• 01 passport-sized photo
• Completed entry/exit form: read instructions to fill out the immigration form.
• Print copy of visa approval 

At airport: Every international airport in Vietnam has a checkpoint counter to grant visa on arrival. When you get off the plane, approach the counter and submit the papers. Once the visa is ready to use on the passport, the officer will call your name and require stamping fee. You give the money to him and get the passport back.

At embassy:The nearest embassy to Kenya is located in Tanzania. The detailed contact information is mentioned below. Please be noted that you have to pay not only stamping fee but also service to embassy for getting the visa from them. And the service fee may reach $100.
