In order to introduce, advertise specialties of Mekong River Delta and some locals to domestic and foreign tourists, Organization Board of the Mekong Delta Economic Cooperation-Vinh Long 2013 decided to hold “Western region’s flavor” culinary competition in Vo Van Kiet street, Vinh Long city from 21st to 24th November.
The participants include companies, restaurants, hotels, food stalls, resorts of provinces and cities in Mekong River Delta. Each local will pick up 3 representatives for the competition (each unit has 2 booths covering 18 m2 area with theme “Mekong River Delta towards a green economy”). Each representative comprises 4 members taking charge of 4 typical dishes.
