How to get Vietnam visa in Wichita,United States

When should you apply?

How to get the visa in Wichita?

Option 1.  Visa on arrival

Applicable to: U.S travelers entering Vietnam via international airports

Step 1: Fill out application form online as correctly as possible. Watch our instructions video if you have no idea how to complete the form.

Step 2: Make payment for your application using credit/debit card. Check visa fee at this page.

Step 3: Receive the visa approval within 2 business days via email. The approval will be sent on the same day for express service (additional fee required). Read Urgent Vietnam visa for details about expedited processing. Please check spam folder in case you do not see the approval in the inbox.

Step 4: Make a colored print copy of approval and complete entry-exit form (the form is delivered at the same time with approval), prepare 01 passport-sized photo and stamping fee.

Step 5: Fly to Vietnam. At “Landing Visa” counter, you are requested to submit an original passport with approval, entry-exit form, and photo. Depending on length of queue, it takes 15-20 minutes for the visa to be granted. Once the visa is ready, you pay stamping fee to the offer and get the passport back.

Option 2. Electronic visa (Evisa)

Applicable to: U.S travelers entering Vietnam less than 30 days through one of those ports of entry.

Step 1. Upload your photo and complete application form online.

Step 2. Pay USD 25 non-refundable visa fee online. You will get a code to check visa result later.

Step 3. After 3 business days, you enter application code, registration email address and date of birth into search menu on the site to download visa letter. It will not be sent to your email address.

Step 4.Show the e-visa at port of entry and enjoy the trip.

Option 3: Vietnam visa at embassy

Applicable to: every U.S traveler

Requirements:

• Original passport valid for at least 01 month prior to date of exit from Vietnam (if arriving by air, you must have minimum 6 months validity on passport in accordance with requirement of the airlines)
• Completed application form (the form is available at Immigration Department page http://visa.mofa.gov.vn. You have 15 minutes to fill out the form). 
• 01 passport photo taken within the past 6 months. Plus 01 photo if you need a loose-leaf visa
• A prepaid return envelope if you want to receive the visa by mail. One envelope can be used for a group of applicants. For your documents safety, the embassy advises you to use USPS Express Mail, DHL/Express Mail, certified mail or Fedex with the tracking numbers.
• Vietnam visa fee: should be paid in form of money order, cashier’s check, or company check payable to “Embassy of Vietnam”.

Processing time:5 working days on standard basis and 1-2 working days on urgent basis.
