Da Lat offers public wifi service

According to the Lam Dong Department of Information and Communication, the provincial People’s Committe agreed to the proposal to providing wifi service in Da Lat city.

The initial capital spending for the project is expected to be VND 6 billion, of which VND 1 billion comes from the budget, the rest will be collected by socialization method.

As scheduled, the project will be implemented in mid-December, 2013 to be in time for “Tourism Culture Week” festival in Da Lat in the end of the year. Firstly, the free-wifi will be delivered to local people and tourists but then it is applied for provincial website only.

Currently, the Department of Information and Communication has been working with Da Lat city to select the business and make an investment solution to ask the approval and deploy from authorities.
