How to get Vietnam visa in Raleigh,United States

Travelers of USA are treated special when they are issued a tourist visa valid for up to 1 year. However, each visit cannot exceed 90 days. Visa process

 

Step 1: Fill out application form online and upload your photo.

Before arrival

On arrival

 

The approval is accepted every international airport in Vietnam. It still works if you have to change the arrival airport unexpectedly. At “landing visa” desk of the airport, you are required to present the approval with valid passport, completed entry/exit form, and 01 passport-sized photo. When the visa stamp is ready, the immigration officer will call your name and ask for some stamping fee before returning the passport. Depending on the length of queue, you may have to wait around 10-15 minutes. In case you want to skip the queue, we do provide stamping assistance service.

The advantage of getting from embassy is everything is well arranged before arrival so you can go directly to the passport control area. Below are the requirements for a standard application:

 

• Original passport valid for at least 01 month prior to date of exit from Vietnam (if traveling by air, your passport must have a minimum of 6 months validity in accordance with regulations of the airlines). 

• Completed application form (the form is available here. You have 15 minutes to fill it out. )

• 01 passport photo taken within the past 6 months. Application for loose-leaf visa requires 2 photos.

• A prepaid return envelope if you want to receive the visa by mail. One envelope can be used for a group of applicants. For your documents safety, the embassy advises you to use USPS Express Mail, DHL/Express Mail, certified mail or Fedex with the tracking numbers.

• Vietnam visa fee: can be paid by money order, cashier’s check, or company check payable to “Embassy of Vietnam”.

•      The other services such as arrangement of visa approval, expedited processing, shipping will require additional fee.

•      Do not make telephone inquiries on status of your application until after the 3rd business days (standard processing) or 1stbusiness day (expedited processing)

•      No mail can be delivered at the embassy during weekends and holidays.
