How to get Vietnam visa in Tampa,United States
You should know
Vietnam visa for US travelers from Tampa is valid from 1 month to 1 year with start date as entry date indicated in the application. The travelers are allowed to enter/exit Vietnam anytime in period of visa validity. However, with TOURIST visa valid for 6 months and 1 year, the authorized stay for each entry cannot exceed 90 days. Before arrival

On arrival
At “landing visa” window, you are requested to present the approval with valid passport, completed entry/exit form, and 01 passport-sized photo. The customs officer will call out your name when the visa is ready. You have to pay some stamping fee before getting the passport back. The embassy doesn’t offer online application which causes somewhat inconvenient; yet, the good thing to apply with embassy is you have everything done before arrival. Below are the requirements for a standard application of Vietnam visa for US citizens:
• Valid original passport
• Application form (enter here to fill out the form online. You have 15 minutes to get it done)
• 01 passport-sized photo taken against white background within the past 6 months. A loose-leaf visa needs 2 photos.
• A prepaid envelope for return of the passport. One envelope can be used for a group of applicants. For your documents safety, the embassy advises you to use USPS Express Mail, DHL/Express Mail, certified mail or Fedex with the tracking numbers.
• Vietnam visa fee: can be paid by money order, cashier’s check, or company check payable to “Embassy of Vietnam”.

• The other services such as arrangement of visa approval, expedited processing, shipping will require additional fee.
