Visa for Vietnam in Bangkok

The required documents for the visa application submission comprise:

- An application form (Free at the website and office of the embassy)

- Origin passport with blank pages left. The expiry date of the passport should be longer than 3 months since the date of exit from Vietnam.

- 2 passport photos including one photo is stuck on the application form

- Approval from Immigration Authority or Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam.

- Visa fee (should be paid in Thai Baht)

The time of process requires 1-4 days to complete. You can request normal or express visa to Vietnam.

2. Vietnam visa on arrival (highly recommended to air entry)

Please remember that Vietnam visa on arrival is only applicable for those who enter Vietnam by air. The process of visa on arival is quicker and the fee is also cheaper. The process of getting visa to Vietnam at airport of arrival includes 4 easy steps in total:

- Fill out the online application form at here

- Pay service fee to get visa approval letter with red colour stamp of Immigration Department

- Receive visa apprpoval letter within 2 working days

- Get visa stamp at arrival airport (Hanoi, Danang, Ho Chi Minh)
