Dear W.travellers,

Thank you for your question!

Please inform that Canadian passport holders are required a visa to Vietnam. At present, you are given 2 ways to obtain Vietnam visa. The first is to apply directly at Vietnam Embassy in Canada, the second (recommended for air travel) is to apply Vietnam visa on arrival online. To apply for Vietnam visa on arrival, what you need to do is very simple as follows:

- Complete the online application form on this site
- Settle the payment as per instructions
- Receive your visa approval letter after 1working day (urgent service), or 2 working days (normal service) via email
- Print the letter out and bring it together with your photos + passport to the arrival airport in Vietnam, pay stamping fee according to the rate regulated by the Government then pick up your visa there.

Kind regards,
Helen Queen
