Dear Laurent Hunt,

In getting Vietnam visa, a passport holders first and foremost has to make sure that the validity of the passport should be 6 months valid at least (from the real arrival date in Vietnam). Thus, in case you would like to get a business visa for Vietnam, you should firstly go to the Immigration Unit (if you are in your own country) or to the Embassy of your country (if you are in a foreign country) to arrange the passport extension or passport renewal. The standard processing time of the extension/renewal is 2 weeks; it may be longer in several Embassies. Once you get the new passport, you now can start applying for a business visa to Vietnam here.

Kind regards,
