Thai Nguyen hosts 2nd Thai Nguyen tea festival

After the great success in 2011, since the 8^th to 11^th November 2013, Vietnam-Thai Nguyen 2^nd Tea Festival with a series of interesting cultural activities will be held in Thai Nguyen city, the land famous for brand “De nhat danh tra” (The best tea) in Vietnam.

The festival framework comprises: Tea Culture Festival, Thai Nguyen Tea Carnaval, “Miss Tea-Land”contest … with book and photography exhibition introducing Vietnam’s country and people, a market display tea products, tours, sport activities such as chess, football, tennis… Apart from 34 troupes from provinces whose strength is tea plant nationwide, the Board of Organization also invited the art groups of Vietnamese tea- exporting countries such as China, India, Japan, Korea, Sri Lanka, Pakistan … With the theme “ Vietnamese tea’s sublimation and prosperity”, the opening ceremony will take place at 8 pm, September 11^th at Nui Coc Lake tourist area (Cao Trang, Phuc Xuan, Thai Nguyen) and broadcast live on VTV1, Vietnam Television.
