Khanh Hoa to host International Yacht Festival 2014

International Yacht Festival 2014 hosted by Khanh Hoa province’s People’s Committee is expected to last from July 19th to 22nd, 2014 in Nha Trang coastal city.

As scheduled, the event will take place in Nha Trang city during 4 days with attractive activities such as: Yacht exhibition, yacht parade around Hon Tre island, music show about Truong Sa archipelago, wine festival, international cuisine, supercar parade and exhibition, Nha Trang’s Sea Environment Day, art perfomance of internationational participants, culture exchange between businessmen and yacht owners.

On 22 August 2013, at the conference discussing about preparation works for the festival,Mr.Tran Son Hai, Mr Tran Son Hai-Member of Khanh Hoa Provincial Standing Committee, Permanent Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa People's Committee  emphasized that  International Yacht Festival 2014 was an international and national tourism event, which will contribute to advertise image of Vietnam’s tourism in general and Khanh Hoa’s in particular. Therefore, the provincial departments are required to pay a big attention and create favourable conditions for the success of the festival.

Leaders of Khanh Hoa People’s Committee has assigned mission to every member of the Board of Organisation. Particularly, the location of opening and closing ceremonies will be decided after naming the yacht wharf.

Nha Trang is considered as one of the most beautiful gulfs in the world. Being endowed with charming landscape, nice location, mild climate and long-time cultural history, Nha Trang has potential to develop various forms of tourism, especially beach tourism attached with water sport games. In this October, an international yacht race whose theme Hong Kong-Nha Trang will be also held for 7 days from 17th to 23rd. This event is expected to draw big attention of tourists.
