Visa for Vietnam holiday

Most of foreigners obtain a visa for Vietnam for holiday. A Vietnam tourist visa is valid from 15 to 30 days. It is long enough for a visit in Vietnam. However, if any tourists want to spend more time to explore Vietnam, a business visa with 3 month validity is available for you to apply regardless of holiday purpose. The procedure to obtain visa for Vietnam for tourists and businessmen are similar. The tourists could apply at Vietnam Embassy or on our website. Let’s see the detailed instructions.

1. Vietnam visa at embassy

When applying for a travel visa at embassy, you are often requested to submit:

- An origin passport with at least 1 month validity from the expiry date of visa

- An application form (download from website of embassy)

- 2 passport-size photos including one photo is glued on the application form

- Visa fee (in cash or by cheque)

- A prepaid return envelop in case you want your passport is returned by post

Processing time often requires  3-5 days

2. Vietnam visa on arrival

- Apply online by filling out the form electronically

- Pay service fee to get visa approval letter within 2 working days

- Receive visa approval letter with red colour stamp on it

- Get visa stamp at arrival airport and pick up your visa
