Vietnam visa on arrival for sea entry

For those who travel to Vietnam by cruise, we are sorry to inform that you are not eligible for Vietnam visa on arrival . Thus, you're expected to get visa to Vietnam at the embassy. 

Steps to apply for Vietnamese visa at Vietnam Embassy/Consulate:

1. Download the visa applicatioin form on website of embassy and complete it.
2. Print the form and submit it along with your valid passport, 01 recent passport photo, and visa fess at the embassy
3. Collect the visa after 3-5 working days
4. Check for errors on the visa to make sure that there is no problem with it. If you find any mistakes, notify the embassy immediately for correction.

Note: 

- Some Vietnam embassies require the applicants to submit the visa approval from Immigration Department obtained by sponsor or business partner in Vietnam if they apply for business visa. If you have no sponsor, contact with the consular section for further assistance.

- The visa fees are different among the embassies. Therefore, you are advise to contact with the embassy where you are applying to know the specific fee.

- Postal Vietnam visa application is accepted by several Vietnam embassies. Contact the embassy in advance to see whether you can apply by post if you live far away from embassy office.
