- A valid passport
- An application form
- 2 passport photos that were taken not more than 1 year ago
- Prepaid return envelop if you submit Vietnam visa application by post
- Visa fee
Processing time of normal service: 5 working days
Processing time of express service: 2 working days

2. Vietnam visa on arrival

To apply for a Vietnam visa on arrival, the first thing Irish passport holders have to do is to fill out online application form on our website. Next, you are required to pay visa service fee to get visa approval letter. The visa approval letter will be sent to your email address after 2 working days since the date of payment. With approval letter, the Irish citizens can board on plane and get visa stamp from Immigration Officer at arrival airport. Finally, just pick up the visa and start your trip in Vietnam.
