I have a question in regards to exiting Vietnam (for a visa-run) on next September 6 (limit date of my actual visa). Since my passport (Canadian) expires on January 2, 2013 (hence with less than 6 months left), I will have a new passport issue days before in HCM. Should I get this soon expiring visa transferred into the new passport (at the HCM immigration), or being in possession of both passports is sufficient? For those doing regular visa-runs: Since I know I could get a 6- or 12-month Vietnamese visa in Cambodia, what I could get in the Philippines at the Vietnamese visa online? Thanks.
Vietnam visa for travelling by land from Laos
We are going from Laos to Vietnam through land. Is the visa application still granted from a border as oppose to an airport? You only specify that you can get it from a Vietnam airport. Please clarify. Thanks.
Pingxiang(Guangxi)/Dong Dang visa run?
Hello! I am an English teacher in China. I am in Beijing now. I will was looking into doing a visa run from Pingxiang to Dong Dang. I know that I will need a Vietnam visa, but is there a way I can apply for one in Pingxiang (apply for one on the China/Vietnam border)? If that is possible...how long does it take to get a Vietnam visa? I just want to hop in and hop out for my visa that is all. Would I still need a Vietnam visa for this as well?

I'm planning a 3-month trip around Southeast Asia, and my current plan is to fly into Da Nang to do Hue and Hoi An, then go south to reach HCMC. From there, I'm traveling onward to Cambodia and Laos, then swinging back into Vietnam at Hanoi. This works well with the weather conditions (I'm traveling from end of August until beginning of December), and I'm hopping over to Myanmar after I finish in Hanoi.I'm a US citizen in Seoul at the moment. My question is this: what's the best visa for me to get?Or is a better approach for me to get two separate 1-month single-entry visas? Is that possible to get two so close together? What 'll I do now?

Hello, I tried looking for this information abt visa.Basically I'm going from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi and then across into Laos and Cambodia and then back into Ho Chi Minh to fly home (Over the course of 2 months.I got a one month single entry visa and thus need a second visa to enter Vietnam from Cambodia to fly home. So is it possible to get a second visa in Phnom Penh? Oh and would it also be possible to extend my first one month visa once I get to Vietnam, We're considering spending 5 weeks going from south to north instead of 4 weeks. Thanks.
