Visa exemption agreement between Vietnam-Myanmar

The visa exemption agreement between Government of Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Republic of the Union of Myanmar for ordinary passport holders becomes effective since 26th October 2013.

Under the agreement, citizens of the two countries holding an ordinary passport valid for at least 6 months will be allowed to enter, exit and transit without a visa to Vietnam for maximum 14 days. Those who desire to stay longer are required to apply for a visa.

So far, Vietnamese ordinary passport holders are permitted visa-free entry in all 9 ASEAN countries.
