Vietnam visa on arrival process

Visa on arrival was introduced in many countries long time ago but it has been officially brought into use by Vietnam Government since 2017. Since then, the foreigners have once more option to obtain visa to Vietnam.

To qualify for the visa upon arrival, the visitors must enter Vietnam by air and hold a passport of minimum validity of 6 months with at least 2 empty pages left.

Validity

The visa for Vietnam on arrival grants the minimum stay of 1 month and maximum of 3 months from the date of arrival entered in the application form.

Process

Step 1: complete the visa application form online on our site. Please double check the form before submitting to make sure that your complete the form correctly.

Step 2: pay visa processing fee using credit/debit card or cash. The fee amount is various depending on type of visa and how quick you would like to get the visa result.

Step 3.  Receive the visa approval letter in your email after 2 business days (normal service), 1 business day (urgent service) or 4 business hours (super-urgent service). This letter is important travel document for you to check in flights and pick up the visa on arrival at the airport.

Step 4. Present the letter along with completed entry and exit form (available on our site), your original passport, 01 passport photo and stamping fee ($45 for single visa, $65 for 1 month multiple visa, $95 for 3 month multiple visa) to get visa stamp and pick up your visa at the airport.
