Bach Ma Mountain is the last part of Truong Son range and center of the only natural forest band remaining in Vietnam that stretches from the East sea to Vietnam-Cambodia border gate, 40 km from Hue to the South.

There are two ways to get to Bach Ma Mountain: on foot or car (under 24 seats) on the narrow road of 20 km long. It would be very great if you could ride motorcycles to conquer the 1,450 m mountain. However, motorcycles are banned here to ensure safety for tourists and environment.

The newly-upgraded villas will give you a good night in a well-equipped room. Once more thing, remember to wake up early to admire charming sunrise scene created by sun, wind, and clouds. This will certainly be one of your most memorable experiences during the trip.

On Bach Ma Mountain, there is a series of unique trail ready for adventurers and wild nature lovers to explore. It will take at least one day for each pathway without any specialized climbing equipment. All what you need is a pair of athletic shoes, socks and the most important, passion of course.

Tri Sao trail will lead you to Tri Sao falls, the residence of many pheasants. Do Quyen trail heads to the summit of Do Quyen fall with 300 m high. This place has a lot of water-rail flowers blooming in March and April. Another track will take you to Ngu Ho falls where situates 5 clean lakes for you to release from the hot weather in summer. Last but not least, Hai Vong Dai track with the top of 1,450 m high will provide you a great view of spectacular mountain ranges running to the East. This is the most favorite track of Bach Ma Mountain for its collapsing villas, the concrete evidence for the golden age of Bach Ma’s tourism sector.

The climate in Bach Ma is very particular. The temperature is always 7-10oC lower than the surrounding areas. This is also the wettest land in Vietnam with annual average rainfall of approximately 8,000 m. That’s why Bach Ma has a biological diversity with 2,147 vegetation species and 1,493 species of animal, of which 27 plant species and 66 animal species are listed in Red Book of Vietnam.
