Vietnamese Government plans to extend visa exemption for Russian

Vietnam Government plans to simplify the entry procedures for Russian passport holders. It is likely that Russian tourists will be exempted  about 30 days at maximum, more than 15 days in comparison with current visa exemption for Russians.

From January to March in 2013 the number of Russians entering Vietnam reaches 84,7000 tourists, 50 % increase over the last year and ranks number one position in list of international tourist visiting Vietnam. In March alone, Vietnam welcomed a record of Russian tourist with 30.7 thousand.

According to experts, that extending up to 30 day visa exemption for Russian passport holders partly contribute to the promotion of tourism relation between Vietnam and Russia.
