According to Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, at ITE and MICE fair held in Hong Kong from 13 to 16 June, Cathay Pacific airlines planned to maintain and develop direct route from Hong Kong to Da Nang in coming time.
Hong Kong-Da Nang route was exploited by Dragon Air (subsidiary of Cathay Pacific) from 28 March this year with frequency of 3 flights/per week.
According to Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hong Kong market had a good response to Da Nang’s tourism products and enterprises were particularly interested is policy on price of tourist residences. Vietnam Airlines stated that they were creating a project to open direct flight Hong Kong – Da Nang, increasing the number of Hong Kong and Chinese tourists to Da Nang in the future.
