Visa on arrival or visa at embassy?

Obtain Vietnam visa on arrival or at the embassy? This question confuses a lot of foreigners when applying for a visa for Vietnam. Before giving the answer, we want to ask you a question. How do you travel to Vietnam ?

Visa on arrival is really a special gift for those who enter Vietnam by air. None of paper work except for an online visa application form, you can easily get a visa approval letter in a short time and quickly pick up your visa Vietnam at arrival airport. Moreover, the Vietnam visa fee is very reasonable. It would be wrong if someone tell you that visa on arrival is not legitimate. Like the visa that you obtain from Vietnam Embassy,  on arrival visa to Vietnam is approved and granted by Immigration Department.

In case you intend to enter Vietnam by land or sea, you have no choice but applying in person for the visa at Vietnam Embassy. It is quite inconvenient for someone because Vienam Embassy is not located in all countries in the world. Still, at several embassies of Vietnam, you are allowed to apply by email  and receive your visa to Vietnam by post.
