Hanoi Tourism has checked poor public toilets for tourists at Old town and Hoan Kiem lake. Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has proposed Hanoi People’s Committee to start a project to improve and repair these toilets as soon as possible according to standard quality promulgated by Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.
The upgraded toilets is installed at Phung Hung park, Phung Hung-Cua Dong intersection, Hang Khay street, Hang Giay street, Gia Ngu.
In 2013, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism sets a target that all toilets at tourism attractions throughout the country must meet international standard.
